Looking for something fun, local and affordable to do this weekend? KVIS is hosting a Movie Night Event featuring a screening of “Big Night” staring Stanley Tucci and Tony Shalhoub (at Katonah Village Library, Friday, 11/18). The evening includes a special introduction to the film by screenplay co-author and Katonah resident, Joseph Tropiano, as well as a reception immediately following the film with food and drink provided by The Blue Dolphin, La Famiglia, Peppino’s, Pizza Station, The Finer Winer & Captain Lawrence Brewing Company.
Katonah’s Joseph Tropiano and Stanley Tucci won the 1996 Sundance Film Festival award for Best Screenplay for “Big Night”. The cost of admission is a $10 donation. This is the first in a series of Movie Nights hosted by KVIS. “Paradise Lost” and “The Believers” are coming soon.
