Charles Department Store is a family owned and operated department store located in the heart of downtown Katonah. Celebrating 87 years of business, current third generation owners Jim and Dave Raneri continue the tradition of providing the highest quality merchandise which they hand select to ensure the best possible selection for their customers and excellent personal service.

On the first floor of the store, you will find a wide variety of housewares and small appliances featuring our favorite brands- All Clad, Cuisinart, Keurig, Scanpan, Viking, Emile Henry, Le Creuset, Green Mountain Coffee, Portmeirion, OXO, Wustof and Breville to name a few. You will also find our shoe department which outfits men, women, and kids with a stylish yet functional selection featuring Merrell, Dansko, New Balance, UGG, Hunter, Ecco, Keen, Teva, Naot, and more!

Charles Upstairs showcases a diverse selection of mens and ladies apparel and outerwear. From basics to one of a kind pieces our clothing department has it all, featuring Patagonia, Woolrich, Barbour, Eileen Fisher, Pendleton, Filson, Nomadic Traders, Fresh Produce, Bills Khakis, Royal Robbins, Alex Cannon, Not Your Daughter’s Jeans, Tulle, Emu, Canada Goose and much more. In the summertime, you will be surprised to see the outerwear section transition into our grill department where you will find our favorite three brands- Weber, Big Green Egg and Primo Grills and Smokers.
