Bedford Audubon Society

BASThe Bedford Audubon Society promotes conservation and protection of wildlife habitats in the northern Westchester and eastern Putnam region through education, advocacy, nature study, and birdwatching. They offer year-round nature programs as well as local walks and hikes.

The Society owns and manages several properties for the enjoyment of passive wildlife appreciation: Bylane Farm; John Bull Library; Leon Levy Nature Garden; James Ramsay Hunt & Mary Welsh Parker Sanctuary; Palmer H. Lewis Sanctuary; and Ruth Walgreen Franklin & Winifred Fels Sanctuary.
