Located on a wooded, 125-acre campus in Katonah, New York, The Harvey School is a coeducational college-preparatory school for students in grades 6 through 12 with an optional five-day residential program for students in grades 9 through 12. Harvey offers college-prep, honors and AP programs in a variety of academic subjects; a competitive athletic program, extensive instruction in the performing and fine arts, more than 20 clubs, an international student program, cutting-edge technology and service learning. Long-standing traditions, such as the annual speech and poetry recitation contests, promote the confidence and leadership that come with creative expression and public speaking. This wealth of opportunities in a warm, supportive environment empowers every student to find his or her passion and achieve extraordinary things.
The Harvey School’s program fosters lifelong learning and inspires students to develop the confidence and leadership qualities necessary to succeed in a diverse, competitive and changing world. With our commitment to small class size, our community cultivates the strengths of each student through academic excellence, artistic exploration, athletic achievement, community service and global understanding. We believe that students achieve more in a small, diverse learning environment and the best academic programs are meaningless without an engaged, committed faculty. With a typical class size of 10, our extraordinary faculty have the time and space to work with every student to ensure all students are challenged to reach their full potential and to become their best selves.
The wealth of opportunities and the deep personal relationships that are formed every day turn ordinary teaching moments into extraordinary learning experiences. We hope that visiting our website and watching the videos of our alums and students in action inspires you to reach out and learn more about us.
