John Jay Homestead

On May 18, 1768, Thomas Jefferson began to build Monticello. His home, along with those of the John Jay and the other Founders, allow us to understand the men and women who started our nation as individuals, family members, and home owners.

The number of tickets available for each tour is strictly limited. We strongly recommend you purchase your tickets in advance. Please note that all members of your party are required to have a ticket for admittance, even if there is no fee associated with their ticket. Tickets are transferable, but not refundable.
