The Effects of Artificial Light on Birds & Wildlife

September 11 @ 7:00 pm

Artificial Light Birds

Artificial Light has consequential effects for birds and wildlife. Learn more at our September lecture at Katonah Village Library.

Artificial light disrupts the worlds ecosystem and has consequential effects on birds and wildlife around the world. Every year millions of birds perish due to collisions with illuminated towers and buildings. Join us as Ornithologist Dr. J. Alan Clark discusses the ways in which light pollution disrupts nocturnal wildlife activity and learn how you can help to preserve our night skies.

Katonah Village Library. Cost: Free. Advance registration is not required. Join us at 7:00 pm for refreshments; lecture begins at 7:30pm.
